JustRipe is operated by Fitted Tech.

What we collect

JustRipe is anonymous-first. On first launch we create a random device identity so we can track your credit balance — we do not require a name, email, or password. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we store the provider's stable user id (and, if provided, your email) only to sync your credits and pantry across devices.

Photos you scan

When you scan a fruit, the photo is sent to our servers and to our AI vision provider (OpenAI) solely to produce a ripeness analysis. We store the resulting analysis and a small thumbnail with your account so you can see your history. Pantry photos stay on your device.

Purchases

Credit purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive a confirmation (via RevenueCat) that a purchase occurred so we can add credits to your balance. We never receive your full payment card details.

Notifications

Food-tracker reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not need to contact a server to deliver them.

Your choices

You can delete your data by contacting us at contact@fittedtech.com. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored pantry data on that device.
